Why join the ABA?

The ABA was founded in 2008 to help strengthen the business community of Ashford. The ABA has been so successful, its membership has expanded beyond the borders of Ashford to surrounding towns including, but not limited to: Willington, Eastford, Chaplin, Mansfield, Tolland, Thompson and Windham.

Benefits of membership

  • Get your business listed FOR FREE in the monthly Ashford Citizen, which is mailed to all participating households in town.
  • Meet other business owners in Ashford and surrounding towns. Our regular meetings are a great opportunity to learn from business owners and find potential customers.
  • Secure affordable advertising opportunities through ABA publications, directories and events.
  • Help promote businesses in your local community.

How much does membership cost?

Annual dues are $60 per business. All memberships are up for renewal in January. We encourage anyone interested in joining the ABA to first attend one of our monthly meetings, which are held the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at Midway Restaurant on Route 44 in Ashford.
